Case for a Round Work
Oil on canvas, 2024
41 × 30 cm
Case for a Round Work was shaped by time spent on an exhibition install where a circular artwork needed to travel in a newly built octagonal case. Made soon after, the painting carries that process in mind — imagining possibilities, testing ideas, deciding on the octagonal form, and seeing it through to the build and the move. It reflects on practical problem‑solving: how a solution is pictured, adjusted in the moment, and remembered afterwards with the energy of getting it done.
