Overlapping vessel-like forms and window shapes in layered oranges, greens, blues and greys, suggesting glass containers and an unstable interior space.

Holding Pattern

Oil on panel, 2025

66 × 48 cm

Holding Pattern layers vessels, windows, and walkways into a shifting interior space. The forms hover between still life and architecture, building an image that feels part observation, part diagram. The work reflects the experience of travelling to a place and getting to know it over time — tracing maps, repeating routes, and gathering memories that gradually accumulate into a sense of place.
